Okay, so as a follow-up, I called 1 866 413-0642, and the customer service person was excellent, had my old number ported from Bell Mobility to Virgin in 10 minutes. Maybe an advantage that Virgin is owned by Bell.
I agree re lack of information about what the temp number is and so on.Their 'Number transfer request page' makes no sense. I put in my new Virgin number, which I hope is temporary, and got an error message saying 1) no request was found even though ...
