Poor reception in Toronto

I have been using Virgin Plus for couple of weeks. At my residence the network reception very low [Hardly 1 bar]. Is it possible to take necessary action to boost the network reception. My location is in Toronto.

Thanks for your feedback. The problem lies with Virgin Plus's Network not with my device.
