New Virgin customer here and we're happy to have received Vincent!

However, it doesn't seem like it supports the "Global Access Control" like Steve offers:

https://www.virginplus.ca/en/support/internet/modem-access-control.html

How is this an "improved" Wi-Fi experience as you say in your post? Also, it didn't come pre-configured with both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks enabled, only the 5GHz was enabled. So we had to call Virgin support to get the 2.4GHz enabled (we could not do it ourselves from the main menu) as we needed it for some wireless devices that only support the 2.4GHz network.

Perhaps two things to look at enabling before shipping out Vincent to your customers?

So far, very satisfied with the service and the packages Virgin has to offer 🙂

Is the ok light on the vincent modem supposed to be red? It's working fine though.

Hey there @Jeff D ,

Welcome to the community and thanks for your post.

No, the "OK" or internet light on the Vincent modem is not supposed to be red while it's working. A solid red light usually indicates a problem with the internet connection. A solid blue light means the internet service is ready for use. If the "OK" light is red, you may need to troubleshoot the connection by checking cables and restarting the modem.

Give that a try and keep the community updated.

Hello Moderator,

Please what's the response to the inquiry from @MrShanks above. I have a similar concern.
