TV keeps freezing and giving error message

TV keeps freezing, tries to load, and then gives an error message (1009p/18). Anyone else having this problem?

You can use the OUTAGE CHECKOpens in a new tab or window tool to check on the current status of the network in your area. You can also get real-time service outage status updates when you log in to My AccountOpens in a new tab or window

Yes! TV service lasts a few minutes and then 1009p/18. So much for watching the hockey game

In the last several weeks VirginPlus TV service is really sketchy. This started with CNN channel freezing including the errors msgs mentioned earlier by others. I informed VirginPlus about the issue and the following day I received a call indicating that the problem was solved. Indeed it was. Now, for the last tywo to three days, channel 627 CTV Sci-Fi is just frozen with these same error msgs. This occurs regardless of what device is used, ie: computer, tablet, Amazon Firestick, etc. These problems do not just occur to me as I checked with others with this service who live at least 10 minutes away from my location and confirmed a problem for them as well. The Outage check link indicates zero problems in my area. Ridiculous.

We wanted to touch base and see if you were still having issues with your Virgin Plus TV service.

If so, have you made contact with Tech Support since your original post? If you have spoken to Tech, has there been a ticket made?

Just for a quick tip as well, you could try logging out of all of your Virgin Plus TV profiles and restart your router and let us know if the issue is still ongoing after.
