I've set my data limit to ensure I don't go over my max but multiple times I've reached the limit and received notification data has been stopped only to have data still be used and get billed absurd amounts of megabits of data. the only way i can rectify this is to call your center wait hours for a attendant just to tell them I never authorized. like is this a scam or a major error in your system????

Hi @FOLXEN,
Thanks for your post.
In order for the community to help we will need to know how are you setting up your data limit?
You can track your usage here.
As you are aware, Virgin Plus will also send you a notification once you have consumed 95% of your allotment. Should you choose to continue using mobile data, once you've reached $50 in overages a soft data block would be applied until you acknowledge and accept the charges to continue with data usage.
If it is an occurrence that is happening often, a good option might be to change your plan to one with more data that fits your needs. Click here to review your options.
Check that out and let us know if it helped.

Other companies send more then 1 notification when your close to running out of data, normally it’s 90% then 95% and then when you have hit your limit. Is it possible to set something like this up? Or set it so data is blocked right when you hit your limit? Cause $50 is a lot for not even a gig of data overage, and unless you constantly check your usage (and who has time for that) then it’s super easy to go over your limit after that 95% text.

I didn't realize Virgin was sneaky with their data overcharges. This is the first time I did not receive proper notice about going over my data limit like Rogers, Fido, Freedom or Public Mobile. Good thing I did not set up up automatic payment. I made a mistake choosing Virgin Mobile.
