For the past two weeks , when I delete texts at the end of the day, by the next morning they have returned and sometimes previous deleted txts from a week ago fill in my active thread window of my text app on iPhone. Apple said this has been reported but many have found their mobile carrier has been able to resolve it.
Deleted texts are saved for 30 days on the iOS , and if I delete all those the problem does not seem to come back. However, some of those texts in the recently deleted area, I want to hang on to for various reasons so that is not a feasible solution and it should not be required.
Anybody have experience with this issue.
