I see that the only option for a smartwatch plan is 1GB data. Is this the default because cell data is shared between my phone plan and smartwatch plan? Or would I be paying per GB of data once 1GB is exceeded?

Through a smart watch plan with NumberShare enabled, the phone number, calling minutes, and messaging allotments are shared between the watch and the paired phone. However, data is not shared between the two. If you do exceed that 1GB allotment of data, then you would be able to expect normal data overage rates unless otherwise specified in the plan at that time.

Thanks for your response, I hope Virgin has a data share plan in the future. 1GB isn’t enough to make use of the watch as a music streaming device which is one of my primary use cases.
