VoLTE on prepaid

I’m currently on a prepaid plan with data with my iPhone 12. I’m not able to use VoLTE even if it is activated in my iPhone‘s settings and I’m in a area where it is covered.

Is it possible to use VoLTE on prepaid plans?

What about broadcast alerts via SMS (e.g. Amber alerts, weather alerts)? Is this available to prepaid subscribers?

Actually, I meant Cell Broadcast alerts.

Hey @PaymentInfo, thanks for reaching out to the Virgin Plus Community.

Yes, so long as you are using a compatible device Prepaid customers will receive the emergency alert.

Your phone must also be connected to an LTE cellular network for the duration the alert is active. If your compatible device is connected to Wi-Fi the alert may not be received.
