Remove Voicemail indicator

Says I have voicemail but when I go to my voicemail it says no new messages. How do I delete it showing that I have messages?

For a quick fix to this, leave yourself a voicemail and then delete that same voicemail. This should clear any remaining notifications for your voicemail inbox.
