Hoping someone can direct me to a solid set of instructions for bringing my existing Lucky mobile number to a newly set up account and SIM card. Kind of need this to happen ASAP as my pay as you go account is suspended due to this change in provider and expired top up from the previous month.

there a 2 option,
1 you have to active Lucky mobile to port out,
2 contact to support Lucky mobile if them can do manually approve to port out, and then set a new account..

Hi all! I signed up on a Black Friday deal with three lines. I plan to port my numbers over to Virgin but was just wondering if my numbers have to be ported within a specific amount of time or if I can just port them over at my convenience? I'm still waiting on my SIM cards anyway...

so how you did signed up on a Black Friday deal with three lines and not have SIM card
you not confirm the processor,
you need the new SIM card to you can do new Activation and the processor to keep on the old SIM card Active until you receive SMS about porting to replying SMS yes
if you not replying yes then your number is with old provider.
there is a specific time of Black Friday deal if you miss it then no one can apply again.
if you place a order online, i am not sure there a tracking number, do you get by email, or you can contact to them by chat live with agent to them can check it for you. or go to any store to buy it SIM card fast way.
just to you know the first line you open it and then sign up for Program refer-a-friend to get a Bill Credit click Here info to you fill up.

Got my SIM card. It took 13 days. Got to pay another month's service with another provider in the meantime.
Nothing in the Virgin paperwork tells me my temp number while waiting for porting.
More concerning, there is no mention of any kind anywhere that porting is happening. During SIM purchase, I put in my IMEI and phone number and clicked the box for porting.
Spoke with rep. I have to talk to another person about porting. Why did I enter my IMEI and phone number and click a box if this is not happening without another request by phone?
The president of this company should go and buy an unlocked phone from Costco etc., then try and get Virgin bring-your-own-phone service. They should try it. Great fun.

I agree re lack of information about what the temp number is and so on.
Their 'Number transfer request page' makes no sense. I put in my new Virgin number, which I hope is temporary, and got an error message saying 1) no request was found even though I haven't made the request yet and 2) I need to put in the number I want transferred (not the temporary one I am targeting to be replaced).
I tried the number I want to transfer and I get the same error :
"Oops! We couldn’t find a number transfer request for <the new temporary number>. Please verify the number and try again.
Note: Enter the phone number you’re transferring to Virgin Plus.
If the problem persists, please call us at 1 866 413-0642 and we’ll be happy to help."

Okay, so as a follow-up, I called 1 866 413-0642, and the customer service person was excellent, had my old number ported from Bell Mobility to Virgin in 10 minutes. Maybe an advantage that Virgin is owned by Bell.

My current carrier never sent an SMS to complete the number transfer, now I am stuck in limbo. I can't re-request, I can't get this incredibly useless chat bot to help, nor can the chatbot direct me to a person.
Oh yes I can call/requesta call, but that would involve switching sims, which I'm not supposed to do until the transfer completes.
Never use Public Mobile, 1 year ago when I switched to them it took me almost a month to get my number transfer resolved, now that I am switching back to Virgin, I still can't get my number transfered.
Would be nice if it was at all possible to get help through the virgin website though. 🙂

Hi,
I ported my old number from Rogers to Virgin yesterday, and responeednUES to the transfer text I received from Roger’s.
how long is the process? It’s been 6 hours and I still see my virgin temporary number on my app.
is there somewhere in the virgin app I can view progress we on this.

Hello, I just switched from Bell mobility to Virgin yesterday evening. They were supposed to put my phone number over. I was given a temporary virgin phone number. I spoke to numerous people about transferring my number and they still haven’t how long does it take to transfer a phone number over I can’t use my phone.
