Phone trouble

My Huawei P30 Pro is having issues.  When I make an outgoing call,  the person answering my call cannot hear me for an average period of 20 seconds.  Many people have ended the call before they were able to hear me.  I use my phone for work and it's become a big problem.  I have chosen to upgrade my device, but I feel it's unfair to be charged to remaining balance of my device since I'm forced to upgrade because it's not working properly.  Is there anyway I can be spared this extra expense?

Hey there, @JamieWiseman,

Thanks for your post.

When a device is acting up, there are some steps can be taken:

- Restarting your device can often resolve many issues.

- Remove the SIM card and confirm that it is not damaged and/or dirty.

- Confirm your device is fully updated to the latest operating system and security patches.

If these 3 options doesn't solve the issue you can attempt to do a manufacture reset on the device.

All devices comes with a manufacturer warranty and if you acquired our SmartCare you can request a replacement.
