PIN for the SIM

How do I find the PIN for my SIM? I don't have the red card where the SIM Card was.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

I've summarized below the information surrounding PIN locks and PUK codes for you;

• What is a SIM pin: A SIM pin is a password you can set to protect information stored on a SIM card. By default, it is turned off and set to 1234 or 1111. It allows for more security if a phone is lost or stolen. PIN options are usually found in the phone menu under Settings > Security.
• Entering it wrong will lock the SIM card: Entering the PIN incorrectly 3 times will lock the PIN. The phone will only be able to make emergency calls. If entered incorrectly 10 times, the SIM card locks permanently and you will need to buy a new SIM.
• How to unlock a SIM card: You need a PUK (personal unlock key) to unlock it. To retrieve your PUK code, you simply need to log in on My Account and select the link "Unlock my SIM card" from your landing page (as shown on the below image).

I found my PUK and after i enter it it say that i can create my Pin but every time i do so it say error…. and now i only have 3 other try and i don’t wanna block my Sim, what should i do from now on?

Also in my Imessage setting on my Iphone 15 in the Send and Receive my phone number only have a little gear on side of it, it doesn’t want to connect to it i dont know what to do!?
