I’m in Victoria BC and for the past 5 days our family’s phone connection has tanked. I can’t hear or be heard or the calls drop or dont go through. This has never happened before. I’ve called now almost 10 times over these past days. Every single call I get a different answer. System outage, no system outage, 5g upgrade affecting the cell sites, they send me to escalation dept and a ticket is opened, ticket was closed saying resolved- not resolved and I had no communication from anyone. They had me switch to 3G from LTE and little change. Still no contact from them.
I run a business and this is devastating. I’m not looking for special attention but some direction as to what to expect and no more run around. Also, every time you call, they do not memo anything! You start again every time just fyi.
I have to spend some time today looking into changing providers because I can’t keep doing this without an answer.
What a nightmare Virgin. CALL ME!

Hey there @SweepingBeauty,
Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
I can totally understand how frustrating it can be to have signal issues. Great to hear that you have already spoken to tech support and had a ticket opened. Is anybody else experiencing the same issues as you are in your area?

I live in Victoria BC and have found the area I live in by Metchosin Road and Lagoon all the way to Stornoway and Cairndale have no LTE service at all. I thought you were the one provider who had coverage out here. What do I do?

Hi there, @67Barracuda. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community.
We wanted to check in and see if you were still having issues with your service. If so, could you provide further details for the Community to be better able to assist?
- Is this loss of service in your area a new occurrence? Or has it been ongoing for a while now?
- Was there a change recently that might've made a difference? Getting a new phone as an example.
- When you say LTE, is it only your mobile data being impacted? Or is it all services, including calling and texting?
- For when you're home, have you tried activating Wi-Fi Calling
?
- Do you know of anyone else in the area having similar issues?
- What troubleshooting steps have you personally completed?
- Have you got in touch with our technical support team to open a ticket?
In the meantime, we'd recommend taking a look at our How To articles on Troubleshooting voice calls and Troubleshooting data connectivity
for troubleshooting tips and advice.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

I have been having issues once I moved from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. I can’t even use google maps on 3G. The service bar is always 1/4. At home or outside. My service is unusable. When i was at Saskatchewan, everything was working fine but once i moved here, this happens everyday. I need help urgently because I can’t use the google maps app to commute to school and it’s affecting my daily life. Please help.

Woke up this morning with no cell phone connectivity, as did 3 others in the house who are all Bell customers. However, I can drive 5 minutes down the road and, once in range, connect to the next tower, and have no further problems as I drive into town. Same goes for the others.
I live in Sooke BC. Does anyone have a contact number at Virgin or Bell to resolve an issue such as this?
Thanks
