Hey @Sungeo,
When in doubt, it’s always safer than not to assume an email is spam or a phishing attempt.
Check out this link on How to Keep Yourself Safe from Fraud, there is a specific area just for phishing and how to identify it.

Hey,
I’ve been on Virgin since about June of this year, my old provider was Bell which I understand is owned by Virgin (or vice versa)
I recently upgraded my virgin plan to include more data and will come into effect December 8th, is it weird that I received an email from Bell this morning about a Bell order summary dated today or do you think it’s a scam email?
I haven’t received or done anything with Bell since I switched to Virgin, it seems weird that they would send me anything at all
Thanks
Brian
