Incomplete Port from Public Mobile to Virgin Plus

I recently got a Virgin Plus SIM and I am currently trying to port my old number from Public Mobile to Virgin Plus. I have been trying to do this for the past 3 weeks and I have talked to multiple customer service representatives regarding this issue.

For some reason, the porting is incomplete. I can make outgoing calls from my Virgin Plus SIM with the old number but incoming calls and texts go to my old Public Mobile SIM.

So right now it seems like I have two SIMs with the same number and I can only receive incoming calls to one.

Can anyone help me with this?

Could you try the following steps and let us know if the issue persists?

  1. Shut down Public Mobile phone, remove PM SIM
  2. Remove Virgin Plus SIM, shut down VP phone. Reinsert VP SIM, restart phone

Hi @VirginPlusKris ,

I've tried doing the above and it doesn't seem to be helping, incoming calls still go to the PM SIM.

When I contacted PM customer service, they said that the porting got cancelled for some reason (not by them) and VP has to send another port request.

Can you help me with this?

i have the same issue in a recent port in, working with virgin support to resolve it....

I changed my line provider from sasktel but nobody can call me, please tell me why?
