Incoming phone calls from a provider call Cogeco do not ring on my iphone 14 and go directly to voice mail.A tech support person from Cogeco even tried calling my phone and his call went directly to voice mail without ringing.
So far others that are non-Cogeco get through with our phone ringing when they call.
this is no good as my wifes 90 year old mother cannot call now in the event of an emergency because she is with Cogeco.

- When you contacted Cogeco, was a ticket open to investigate your concern?
- Does this issue affect other users in your home and/or other users that you would know of?
- Have you verified to ensure you do not have any of the numbers blocked in your contact list?
- Are you able to call your wifes mother and/or other Cogeco phone numbers?
- What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
- Have you got in touch with our technical support team to open an investigation on the matter?

We can understand your frustration and are happy to hear that a ticket has been open to investigate your case.
These kind of issues can take some time to be investigated and corrected depending on what is causing the blockage. Normally, once there is progress and a resolution within your ticket, our team in charge should get in touch with you to confirm and/or complete further tests if needed.

Cogeco tech called me to see if he could get through and he could not. The phone did not ring and went right to voicemail. A ticket was not opened because I am not their phone customer.
This issue affects Both cell phones that we have with Virgin.
Of course I checked both phones and nothing is blocked. Also how could I block the number for the Cogeco tech when I don’t know or have his number.
Yes we can call all Cogeco numbers. The problem is when they call either of our 2 phones w8th Virgin the phones do not ring and go straight to voicemail anywhere we are.
The troubleshooting is Virgins responsibility. We left Bell app. 5 months ago to go to Virgin and never had this problem. One phone had the number ported and the other phone was bought new at ZVirgin with a new phone number.
yes of course I reported this to Zvirgin twice and a ticket was opened.
if this cannot be resolved we will need to cancel both phones with Virgin as this could be an emergency situation if my wifes 90 year old mother cannot reach us and if we are stuck with a service provider that cannot provide proper phone service.
