Google Pixel 4A - No Sim Card detected

Has anyone with a Google pixel 4A ran into an issue your sim card not being detected and thus losing service? This has been ongoing for months now and there is no permanent solution. I have replaced my sim but no luck. Looking for any tips to workaround this.

I have actually heard about this is issue with other Pixel 4A users around the world; specifically after completing an update. Most Pixel users have had success after sending their devices for repair.
