I'm buying my daughter her first phone and plan. Since my plan is with Virgin, I wanted to do it here through my account as well. She has a used phone that we bought before hand elsewhere so we just need to buy a plan ... does she get issued a phone number with the plan's online purchase or how does that work?

You can add a new line to your account by logging into your My Account profile here (Depending on your account, you may be limited to 1 service only).
