Cannot reply to texts

When I receive a text and then reply, I get an error message that the text cannot be sent. Any reason why this is happening?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

Since many factors can affect the delivery of an SMS, we would like to ask you a few questions to narrow down the possible causes:

  • Where are you currently located and is the error only happening in that area?
  • What type of device are you currently using and have you or the person you're trying to send the SMS to recently changed from an Apple device to an Android device or vice versa?
  • Does it happen with multiple recipients or always towards the same person (If so are they saved into your contact list)?
  • Are you experiencing any issues with your other services on your device (phone calls, mobile data)?

Also, if you could share a screenshot of the error message that would be great. (if you share a screenshot of the error, please hide all personal information on the image.)

I've had a few people (who are not on virgin) say they get 'can't be delivered' on their phones whenever they try to text me.  
I even sent out a few texts this morning but the people never received them, but it didn't say there was an issue on my phone.  

Been having trouble replying text messages, tested with multiple people in different regions in Canada, no issues receiving any but when i tried to reply it always couldn’t go through. Monthly plan has unlimited text messages so shouldn’t be a problem, just happened all of a sudden, device is an iPhone 13 Pro, any ideas?
