Blocked Calls by Phone

So I have a 20 5G, and recently my phone has been blocking calls from people in my contacts. I have never had an issue before but have been having this issue since October 3rd. It decided to work for one day on the 20th, but has now gone back to blocking the call. The number is not blocked in my phone, it is not spam, or scam. The number is my mom's, and I have even tried deleting the contact and re-adding to my phone and and memory card, Neither has worked. What/how can I get my phone to stop blocking her calls? As every time she calls, it says blocked by phone, and she goes straight to voicemail. I don't even know that she has tried calling, as I don't receive any notifications. I only know if she texts me or leaves a voicemail message.

Something similar has happened to me in the past and it was due that my contact had their number private and I had set up my device to reject any blocked or private numbers. You can verify in your calling settings on your device to see if the feature is on or off, to verify your device user guide click here.

I have tried that, and my mom's number is not private, also that setting is off on my phone. I have also tried restarting my phone. Yet still nothing has worked, and still blocks my moms calls.

Can you please go under your phone app settings > click the 3 dots on the top right corner > click settings > look for the blocked numbers option and then from there you will find all rejected/blocked numbers and check if your mom's number is listed, if it's the case, you can click the "X" to remove it. Let me know if it helps.

Her number is not listed in my blocked numbers/call list. I had this same problem back in September with my dad's number but it resolved itself. Now it's doing it with my mom's number and I've never had a problem with this before the last update

One last thing you can try, if you haven't already, is to wipe your device back to its factory settings and ask your mom to call you to see if it works.

Hello,

I am in Canada Toronto area. I couldn't receive a call from the number start with "+1 347" 3 days ago. My phone didn't ring. It also has no call history for this call. But I did got the voicemail from this call.

Why was this happen and how do I fix it?
