Why is virgin charging me for a month of usage when i just signed up with this company on june 19

Hi there, @Dee1. Welcome to the Community.

All post-paid monthly plans, pre-paid monthly plans, and home services plans are billed a month in advance.

As an example, If your billing date was the 15th of each month, your bill would be for services up until the 14th of the next month (e.g. June 15th to July 14th).
