After registering for "my account", I entered banking info for pre-auth monthly payments for my plan. It then said payments authorized for the 13th. On the 17th I receive a text saying you owe your monthly bill. I thought that weird but I paid it.
So what's going on?
Updated: checked my bank acct. and the pre-auth didn't come out, so mustn't have put the correct bank info into the Virgin setup.
So I can set up pre-auth from my bank's side, using the 14 digit virgin number. But going to check with virgin that the first setup from their side isn't active.

Good morning, @pinkreb. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community, and thank you for your post.
There is a delay of one billing cycle, or thirty days, before a pre-authorized agreement come into full effect. So if you set up your pre-authorization on November 13th, you would still need to manually pay your most recent bill manually. Once the next bill is generated, at that point the pre-authorized agreement would come into effect.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
