I wouldn't have made the long-distance call if it hadn't said I have unlimited long distance.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

Hi there, @borkel. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community.
Please bear in mind that as the Community is a peer-to-peer channel, other users would be unable to look into your account to confirm, as it would depend on the specifics of your monthly plan and the nature of the calls in question.
With that said, the most common cause for this to occur is when a user is calling a number based in the US or otherwise abroad and outside of Canada. It's important to know that "Unlimited Long Distance" as it appears on yours or any other Virgin Plus members is only for calls within Canada, i.e. calling from Toronto to Vancouver.
If your plan has US long distance included, or if you have an add-on for calling to the US, it would appear on your plan as something along the lines of "Unlimited Canada to US Long Distance".
You can also monitor your usage and the details of incoming calls, text messages, and data usage by visiting and My Usage and View usage details.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
