ive added money to my account to pay for my monthly payment for my prepaid account. It still hasnt gone through. Its been 2 days.

The added balance won't be applied to your monthly plan until your Anniversary Date. You can check what it is by logging onto your My AccountOpens in a new tab or window

Additionally, please bear in mind that payment is not instantaneous. Payment via bank account can take 2 to 5 business days, while credit card payment can take up to 24 hours.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I recently switched back to pre-authorized payment after being on pay as you go (due to technical issues with the Virgin mobile website), but today I just got a message saying my credit card didn't go through, even though I've used that same credit card before for pay as you go. There's something wrong with your pre-authorized system. This is the third payment issue I've had with Virgin Mobile in the past few months. This is really frustrating and is making me seriously consider switching phone providers.
