As I haven't lived in BC for over a year, how do I get out of paying PST?

Tax rates for mobility accounts are determined by the area code attached to your phone number, not your home address.

In the case of BC, this includes the following area codes:

• 250
• 604
• 778
• 236
• 672

I was told the same thing for living in Ontario with a Qc number. There's Qc tax on my bill...
