I was looking into changing my plan but the options in the app are very limited, there’s only 3 options. My friend just switched her virgin plan and she recommended it to me but it’s not showing as an option. It’s called “Doux Paiement 55 - 40G Can/Eu”. Does anyone know how I can change to that plan?

Hi there, @shel18. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community.
As the Community is a peer-to-peer support channel, we wouldn't be able to comment as to why specifically you're unable to see the plan. With that said, there's a number of reasons as to why a plan would be visible for one person and not the other.
- They may reside in different provinces.
- Different plans may be available between month-to-month / BYOP and being on a agreement.
- People who are switching to Virgin Plus or signing up for the first time may receive exclusive offers.
- Their tenure as a Virgin Plus member.
- Some plans may only be available online via My Account, or a Member Care representative would only have access to apply them on your behalf.
This is just a few examples; more specific circumstances can also arise, but these are the most common. We hope this clears up any confusion, and helps you understand why the plan may not be available to you.
Let us know if you had any further questions.

Hi, Not sure if asking in right section but I am looking to get clarity on this since no one I spoke to on the phone was able to give me an answer.
So I have an account with two mobile phone lines. I saw recently that one phone number was eligible for a plan that offers 30gb data for $34. However, my other phone number is not and I am paying $46 for 3gb of data!
So my question is, how is it that offers are not applicable for the account (both lines)? I mean it's kind of ridiculous that I am paying $46 for 3gb on one phone number and $34 for 30gb on another phone number both under a single account?
Are these offers presented to arbitrarily chosen phone numbers?
Appreciate any clear answer thanks.

I tried to Change my Plan to a lesser value, so I go to Change my Plan, "see your options".
I just see more expensive Plans (for some reason), I don't see the lesser Plan BYOP Plan of $19./mo
Which is the one I want ?

I called Virgin today about my plan. I was paying $51 /month for unlimited texting and calling and 20 GB of data. (This was increased by Virgin recently from $45 /month without telling me.) My son in law has a plan with Virgin for $34 / month for unlimited texting and calling and 30 GB of data. Why is mine more expensive for less data? We both have a BYOP plan and I have been a loyal customer with Virgin for well over 5 years!

i'm an international student in canada that has had the BYOP 39 - 3GB for long. Right now I'm outside of the country and would like to downgrade my plan into the 250MB data, talk & text plan that's $19/mo as i'm having visa problems and I don't know when I'll be back to Canada. I would like to have the cheapest plan as I just don't want to lose my current number, and I feel like I'm paying a lot for something that I'm not currently using. But when I go on the page to change my plan, it just gives me options which are even more expensive and the one that I want doesn't even appear on the page. How do I downgrade my plan to the $19/mo? or is there something even cheaper I can get? I currently don't care what the plan gives me because I'm not paying for travel add-ons so I can't use anything but my number for whatsapp. And can I do everything online?

Hi,
When I logged into my Virgin Account (currently have 2 mobile lines and Internet) and on the main page is listed "An amazing offer for our Internet Members! Get 20GB for $29mo. Available on new activations when you bring your own phone" when I try and add the service or talk to a Live Agent, I am told it is not available.
I cannot see anywhere in the "fine print" why I am not eligible?

I also had this experience and was told that it was an algorithm decision. I asked for a person callback, which never happened. I enjoy virgin and hate to switch providers just to be able to be a “new customer”, but I may need to even though I’ve been a loyal customer for almost ten years. Crazy.

I want to add a 2nd line to my plan but all the plans say 4G speeds only. Where did all the 5G plans go?

I saw this plan on the home internet page, but it's not allowing me to apply for it. I have gone through chat, who redirected me to loyalty. Twice. Both times chat says they can see the plan, but loyalty has to apply it. Loyalty will then say that they cannot see the plan. The first rep from Loyalty actually told me that chat would have to be the one to apply it
