Credit card used to buy a gift card?

I got a text a while ago from Virgin Mobile saying my credit card was used to buy gift card.

I didn’t buy anything nor did I give anyone else access to my card. How can we stop this?

In the instance that you believe that your credit card has been compromised in any way, we suggest getting in touch with your credit card company immediately.
