Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.
That would depend on the start date you've chosen when making the change. If you've chosen to make the change immediately, then your new plan will be effective right away and if you've chosen next bill cycle start date, then your new plan will only be effective on the start of your next billing period.
You can review your plan details directly in My Account.
