is the monthly fee increase?

Port your number to some other providers who can offer you comparatively good services with less monthly fees. I am planning to do it on Monday.

Their tier 1, 2, 3 ……. agents are useless to and you won’t get any solutions

My phone plan jumped from 27 to 38 and is now at 45. I have never gone over data I barley use half I always pay my bill early and haven’t even had the plan for a year! Help I can barley afford it as is

15% increase.  I was not aware it was coming until bill was available yesterday.   This is after a 15% increase same time last year.

I have a new SIM card coming and am leaving Virgin.  New provider has a price freeze guarantee.

I’ve been with Virgin for a decade or more. I recently upgraded my plan to a “loyalty” plan and now the price is increased without any notification. I feel like you tricked me out of leaving my original plan and now you can do with me what you want. And I have to put this here because there’s nowhere else to do so. I don’t expect anyone to care but it had to be said. so no, I am not loyal to you anymore. I’ll take my next 10+ years of business elsewhere.

Used to think Virgin was a decent provider.  Been with them for more than 10 years and have never felt as ripped off as I have in the last 6 months.  I'm done being ripped off by inferior service, useless plans and incompetent phone support.  I know that no one from Bell or Virgin will ever see this.  Unfortunately.

Hi Team,
I see you added around 30$ on my bill after last year registration.
Just to tell you I was lawful client since 2022, and I can't5 afford this bill as it is .
I hope you would consider making it less .
Thanks

They get me with a good mobile deal and not even 6 months later increase my bill $6 /mnth more (Shaddy)

A friend contacted me yesterday to ask about virgin (costs, data) Now I can share what just happened. 4hrs later Telus called him and offered him 65Gb for $39 a month so he took it of course. Something to look into.

It hasn’t been a year, my bill went up $3 and I got a notice that my discount of $ 6.00 will disappear July 1. So the same services increase by 10% in 9 months. At this rate, I can’t afford to stay with Virgin Plus paying these rates for 4G service.
There’s no reason to increase my bill at all.  This is a Bell tactic and I will switch to another provider:

what am I paying for? Since switching to Virgin Plus, I receive more scam/fraud calls than with Bel’ Mobility.  I will leave a nasty Google review about Virgin Plus.

Why do they feel they can just increase my monthly amount without authorization or notice?

There has been an increase of more than 40% on my statement since I joined in March of 2024.  My contract started with $29 monthly plus HST and is now $40.75 monthly plus HST. I know we can’t do anything about HST but how is a 40% increase allowed in a 15 month period!!

This is ridiculous, they can sneak that shady stuff in our contracts an 8$ increase just because, but now when you go to call and inquire about it,  I have to book a time the next day to talk to an employee. What exactly are all these extra charges going towards, because it isn't customer service or paying employees. The only time you have no problems talking with an agent one-on-one is when they want to get paid.

My bill was higher, this month. After comparing it to last month's bill (which has been the same for a long time), I saw that something called 'Price Protection Discount' of 6$ is no longer there. As with many of the other responses on this thread, it's frustrating and rude to now have to book an appointment for a call-back; I tried three different time slots, none of which were available, and then I was locked out. When I tried to open a chat, the button did not respond. I've been pondering amalgamating my two Virgin mobile accounts with my existing Bell Fibe account. This may be the straw ...
