Can I just unplug Steve and then re-plug it to change modem location in my home?  I'm a Neanderthan when it comes to technology

Hi there, @Degas. Welcome to the Community.

For the Community to be better able to assist, could you clarify if you're just meaning to move the modem to another location in your home, or move it to a different address altogether?

If you're moving to a new address, check out or How To article on How to move your Virgin Plus servicesOpens in a new tab or window

If it's just elsewhere in your home, you're free to do so. We do ask that you keep in mind however that you may see differences in network quality in your home afterwards.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks Kris;  I just want to unplug the modem for about 2 minutes, then reconnect it. I don't want a bunch of problems with my internet as a result.
