Hi dear VirginPlus team,
I hope this message finds you well. I have a Steve router at home (Sagemcom Model: Fast 5250), and I'm currently in the process of setting up a secondary router, Brume 2, to my network. My objective is to establish a connection to the WAN so that I can create a tunnel for my travel router while abroad. Essentially, I am seeking to obtain the DDNS (residential i.p) for remote work purposes. However, I've encountered an issue where I'm not receiving any signal from the WAN, and my router is unable to establish a connection. I would like to inquire if it's possible to use a secondary router in conjunction with Virgin's Fast 5250.
Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your prompt attention and support.
Best regards,
TheChallenger2025

Hi there, @TheChallenger2025. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community.
While we do thank you for your post, please bear in mind that we are unable to assist with setting up any third party equipment. With that in mind, a general step-by-step would look like this:
- Connect the modem to the WAN / internet port of the third party router.
- Access the configuration of your third party router and set it to PPPoE.
- Enter your log-in credentials.
Thank you again, and let us know if you have any further questions.

What are my credentials to use in such scenario?
I know my user id (v2xxxxxx @virginmobile .ca), but I do not know what the password should be. I don't think I was ever provided one by Virgin.
Thanks!
