So I just realized that my home doesn’t have a green cable to insert the Valerie modem cable it came with. The only one I have is a Ethernet connection on the wall. Should I just get a technician to install it then?

Hi there, @Cheese. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community, and thanks for your post.
For the Community to be better able to assist, could you clarify as to what kind of self-install you were anticipating? Take a look at this page on virginplus.ca for Install programs
- If you were expecting a fibre jack or optical network terminal install, then your modem should've come with a green cable.
- If there's already a green cable hard wired into your home, there would be no need for one to be packed with your modem. These are typically located in the basement near an electrical panel, or in a closet for apartments/condos.
If you do not have a cable wired into your home and your modem did not come with one, then you would need to have a technician come visit to install one or provide a new one.
Let the community know if you have more questions.

You need to request for a technician to come bring one and install it.

I received my virgin plus modem for installation. I have a fibre green cable installed in my home. The tutorial says to plug the green cable into the chord coming out of the modem. Problem is, both cables are identical males.

I trying to change my Bell modem to Virgin. When with Bell the green connector went straight into the modem but doesn't want to do the same with Virgin. I try to go back and reconnect the Bell modem I now have an error with that on. So I currently have no internet. Error is Low Power Code E 1201.

I only received modem - Vincent / power adapter / ethernet cable.
Box doesn’t include the main thing needed to connect to the bell fibre jack.
Customer support has no clue. Manual set up guide is confusing.
Please help!!

I got a modem Vincent to self install internet, and there was a green end cable with it.
But at my condo, only coaxial cable is installed so I have no idea where to plug the green cable to...
How can I do?
