I want to pay off my existing balance on my phone. Is this possible/how do I do it?

Hi there @Corey7733. Welcome to the Virgin Plus Community. 🙂

If you end your Service Agreement early or you change your plan to a non-eligible plan (Bring Your Own Phone), you will have to pay an early exit charge. The early exit charge consists of your remaining device payments, and the remaining balance on your Agreement Credit (plus applicable taxes) if you received one at the time of purchase.

So it says I can pay it off at any time. I do not want to make any changes. Just simply pay off the device balance owing. Where can I do this? Would it work in the app where I can normally pay my bill?

Purchasing a new device is not required.

On Virgin Plus, if you wish to pay your Sweet Pay balance early you must first switch to a BYOP (Bring your own phone) plan. This will generate the charge for the remaining balance of your device to be paid on your next bill.

Hi, so I want to pay off my phone bill but after that I want to keep my rate plan, is it possible? Let say, I have a sweet pay of my phone is 600$ (around 20$/month) + my rate plan (60$/month). Can I just pay off 500$ for my phone and keep paying 60$/month for my rate plan afterward?

You need to change your phone plan to a bring your own phone plan. As long as you owe them money you get a decent plan, but of you don't owe them they give you a more unsatisfying plan.

I was looking to change my plan, I only get 3 options listed and 2 of them are more then what I am paying now the other is the plan I already have. I used to have a talk and text plan which I am looking for which is $25 and is only for new activations. There is another plan for $19 which does not come up. I am on the Sweet Pay plan, if I pay the remaining balance on the phone am I able to get one of the talk and texts plans? If so how do I pay off the remaining balance of my phone? I have been a Virgin Plus member for quite a while now. I also have my internet through Virgin Plus and don't seem to be able to get a discount bundle.
