One or two bars in Windsor and Essex County, Ontario

I live in Essex County Ontario and find the connection very spotty. It was worse with Roger’s, but service with Virgin Plus is only a bit better. Even in downtown Windsor the other day, I had only one or two bars. I have a brand new iPhone 17. Anyone else have trouble in this part of Ontario ?

There are currently no reports of widespread or major outages in this region. If you notice that the problem persists only within a specific area, it’s possible that a local antenna is undergoing maintenance.

In order for the community to best assist you, please provide details about the issue(s) you’re currently experiencing with your service: When did the problem start? Are other Virgin Plus Members experiencing the same issue? And what troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

Quick fixes if you lose network coverage:

Enable Wi-Fi Calling: If the cellular signal is weak inside your home, enable Wi-Fi Calling in your device’s settings to use your home Internet connection.
Force a Reconnection: Turn on Airplane Mode for 10 seconds, then turn it off to force your phone to search for the nearest cell tower.
Reset Network Settings: Go to your phone’s settings (iOS or Android) and select “Reset Network Settings” to clear any corrupted connection caches.
