Changing to a lower mobility plan

Hi, I have paid off my phone with the sweet and pay plan> I am looking to go to the $19 a month plan. It doesn't do anything when I try on change it online and using the app it says the the phone number cannot not be brought. Why does it say this?

To clarify, are you referring to the "250MB data, talk & text" visible on virginplus.ca when you're browsing plans? Please do bear in mind that offers on virginplus.ca are exclusively for people looking to switch from other providers to Virgin Plus or are simply looking to sign up for the first time. As you're an existing Virgin Plus member, this is why you would be getting the error that your phone number can't be brought to Virgin Plus - it's already a Virgin Plus number.

To review plans available exclusively to you, you'll want to log into your Virgin Plus My Account profile instead. You can log into your profile here, or download the My Account app for your respective phone's operating system here. If you don't already have a My Account profile, you can go to Account Registration and make a new profile right away.

Hi, There doesn't seem to be any lower plans for existing lotal Virgin Plus member. So I order to get a cheaper plan, talk and text plan I would have to go to another carrier.
