Retrieving Text Messages After Removing SIM Card

I removed my SIM card from my phone for approximately 1 year and 4 months. Is there a way to retrieve the text messages that were sent to my phone during that period? I recently put my SIM card back in my phone and I didn't receive any text messages or missed phone calls, even though I know for sure that some were sent to my phone while my SIM card was not in my phone during that period of time.

Welcome to the community and thanks for your post.

In order to receive text messages and phone call logs, your SIM needs to be in a mobile phone connected to the network. Since your SIM was not connected to the network, the text messages and missed calls would be lost.

Is there any other possible solution to retrieving the text messages that were sent while my SIM card was out of my phone? Or are they 100% gone?

In the instance that it would be needed for legal matters, the appropriate authorities will know how to request them. With this being said, if it is wanted for personal reasons, we sadly do not have the ability to retrieve them.
