Welcome to the Community and thanks for your post.

There is no current option to modify the Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), however in order for the Community to best assist, some clarification will be needed on what you're attempting to accomplish that would need you to modify the ICMP.

I would like to monitor my connection and the easiest way is to ping my modem from a VPS on the internet. I'm open to other suggestions to monitor my internet connectivity.
